The Challenge
Our elementary school PTA did not have a consistent brand identity. Flyers, social media posts, and event promotions were created ad hoc, resulting in a lack of recognition and cohesion. This made it harder for families to connect with the PTA’s initiatives and limited overall engagement.
The Solution
I developed a unified visual identity for the organization. I designed branded templates for flyers, social media graphics, and event materials, taking into account printing and ink limitations. I also branded, updated, and managed the group’s Facebook page to become a consistent and welcoming digital presence.
To ensure sustainability, I created all flyers in Google Slides, enabling future PTA volunteers to update and customize them without design software. I also designed a custom t-shirt and yard signs, reinforcing school pride and providing families with a tangible connection to the PTA’s work.
The Result
The new branding increased recognition and visibility of PTA efforts, helping drive greater parent participation and student enthusiasm. Most importantly, the PTA was left with the tools and autonomy to continue producing consistent, branded communications well beyond my involvement—reflecting my commitment to empowering clients long after our work together is complete.
